ImpactLine collects the budgets that federal, state and city governments publish and puts them in one place, in one structure, so they can be read against each other. Every figure names the fiscal year it belongs to and links back to the filing it came from.
Start with federal spending for Treasury receipts and outlays and the awards flowing out of each agency, open state budgets for enacted budget authority alongside Census actuals, or go to city budgets for adopted appropriations by department.
